A Napoléon Cognac from Château de Montifaud in the Petite Champagne region, made with a blend of eaux-de-vie aged between 15 and 18 years. Tasty stuff, showing off a hearty helping of rancio through the cooked fruit and caramel notes.
Earthy tobacco leading to old oak, baked apricot, toffee and a touch of zesty citrus peel.
Just tried the Napoléon, and such a delicious drink. I bought the XO last year but this is better. The honey notes just sing.. Will be my go to cognac from now on!

Just finished my courvoisier xo,nice but found to much heat on the finish. So tonight I opened this napoleon. As soon as it covered my mouth with its oily taste,I new it was special. Absolutely superb,I let it dribble down my throat,laying on a slightly peppery heat ,and when you think it's over,the taste erupted in my mouth again.I liked the vsop,but pay the extra ,and try. Just marvellous stuff.No wonder it is sold out.
Well rounded, and very well balanced. An exceptional example.
