Blackeye Gin is brought to us by three stars of the rugby world, Mike Tindall, James Haskell, and Alex Payne. Produced at London-based Thames Distillers, the gin includes a host of botanicals sourced from different rugby-playing nations across the globe. It boasts a citrus-forward profile with subtle florals and intriguingly, is rounded off with a secret ingredient that the makers claim you won't find in any other product in the world! This ought to be a fab choice for G&Ts while watching the rugby.
The gang at Blackeye has informed us that for every bottle sold, they will donate £1.50 to the brand's very own Blackeye Rugby Fund, supporting research into player safety, risk management within the game, and recovery for injured players.
*UK (excluding Channel Islands) and retail only. Offer from 05 05 2026, while stock lasts.
A silky start, with crisp layers of citrus peel and floral blossom bolstered by a hearty crunch of juniper at the core, and a dash of pepper to finish.
Lemon peels and crisp juniper, with gentle spices and delicate florals in tow.
Citrus leads the way, with zesty peels and hints of blossom, bolstered by a hearty crunch of juniper at the core.
A dash of pepper brings balanced warmth.

“This is a truly wonderful gin, worthy of any G&T, but you definitely get an extra kick from knowing that you're also supporting injured rugby players to get back in the game. Good on you boys.”

My go-to gin! Anyone that enjoys a good dry gin with a subtle difference, please pick up a bottle You'll also be helping injured sportsmen and women, so it tastes even better (checkout the Blackeye fund)
Very smooth, the lovely citrus notes and the juniper, makes a delish G&T pair with light tonic water, lots of ice and orange as garnish. Feeling great about buying a bottle that gives back to a Rugby fund is certainly a plus!
I have enjoyed this but I think it would be good in cocktails or with bolder tonics. A little bit heavy on juniper for my personal taste and definitely not a sipping gin - though it doesn’t claim to be. Always good to support a good cause.
Having had a couple of bottles now , I can honestly say it’s a very drinkable gin with a plain quality tonic . First class with the added bonus of a donation to help rugby and its players . Top stuff !
A really great gin, brought for a party and was very popular. Would recommend.
