This Choya sake is made using locally grown japonica rice from the Nara Province. It is GM free and is best served warm.
Smooth and gently sweet. As someone who tends to drink ginjos and daiginjos, it's very nearly as nice chilled and neat as many sake more than twice its price, and it goes real well in cocktails.
Initially bought 3 bottles to try as the reviews were pretty good. I am no expert but this seemed smooth and as good as any other Sake I have had. I just ordered some more.

As a previous reviewer said, I don’t faff about with the proper warming, It’s in a glass and in the microwave (39) seconds! Lovely! Great everyday sake, I spend more in the blue sea one when I want a treat.
I can’t faff about warming it properly, life’s too short, so I put it in a glass and microwave it for 37 seconds. How dare I? But, it’s a good everyday sake and the method suits me :)
