This Sherried Blended Malt from Ardgowan is comprised of 27-year-old Highland and Island single malt Scotch whiskies aged in a single PX hogshead, plus a 33-year-old single malt from Benrinnes. Limited to 408 bottles filled at natural colour (just look at it – wow!) and a cask strength of 41.8% ABV, at under £95, this whisky is a ridiculous steal.
Citrus zest, white pepper and marzipan.
Dark cherries, toasted marshmallows, sticky raisins, and pear drop sweets.
Long and satisfying, with more hints of marzipan.
