Benriach 7 Year Old 2012 (cask 14186) - Provenance (Douglas Laing)
A single cask Benriach, matured in refill barrel for seven years before being independently bottled by Douglas Laing. It was distilled in September 2012, and then set aside to rest until July 2020, when the cask was cracked open and drain of the tasty whisky within. 306 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Cinnamon gum, honeydew melon, Coco Pops with milk, cedar.
Palate
Barley, banana bread, honey, a slow build of baking spices.
Finish
Toffee and milk chocolate linger.
