This single malt Scotch whisky was bottled in 2019 for the Strictly Limited range from Càrn Mòr after it spent 8 years in a single sherry butt. It was distilled at the wonderful Benriach Distillery in 2010 and was bottled with no added colouring or chill-filtration with an outturn of 824 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Polished oak, hazelnut whip, orange peel and caramelised dried fruit.
Palate
Brown sugar, jammy red berries and prickles of black pepper, with oak char and light leather underneath.
Finish
Ginger root and banoffee pie linger.
