The folks at Gordon & MacPhail got their hands on some cracking casks from Craigellachie for this expression! Distilled in 2005, this single malt was matured in four refill bourbon barrels for 13 years until being bottled up in June 2019 for Gordon & MacPhail's Connoisseurs Choice series.
Floral orchard blossom, creamy vanilla, sweet caramel biscuits.
Sweet citrus zest counters peppery spice, with liquorice, anise, sugary coffee and rich oak.
Treacle toffee notes, more earthen spice with bold, meaty barley.
