Dalmore 40 Year Old (2024 Release)
The stunning 2024 annual release of The Dalmore's 40-year-old single malt initially matured in American white oak bourbon barrels before it was divided into portions for further maturation in a selection of special casks. One portion was transferred to 30-year-old Matusalem oloroso sherry casks, while another was filled into rare Graham’s Port Colheita casks from 1970. The whiskies were then carefully married back together for this immensely impressive and exquisitely presented single malt.

Nose
Cherries, plums, sultanas, toffee apple, and vanilla pod.
Palate
Orange peel, chocolate truffles, Old English marmalade, and crushed walnuts.
Finish
Black Forest fruits, poached pear laced with caramel, and dark chocolate.
