A fab Fettercairn here, matured for 22 years in ex-bourbon casks before being bottled up at 47% ABV. The Fettercairn range has slowly been growing over recent years, with a focus on a variety of age statements, and that's great news for Fettercairn fans. This particular expression shows off the distillery's fruit-forward side, so you can expect heaps of mango, apple and cherry notes, alongside layers of vanilla, oak and crushed spices.
Dried fruit and fresh green apples, buttered teacakes, cedar, a hint of hay.
Cherry, gingerbread, orange peels, pineapple and mango juiciness, soft earthy spices, another helping of cedar.
Lingering fruity coffee and honey notes.
