This addition to The Glen Grant Principal Collection is the oldest to date to join its core range. The 21-year-old single malt was matured in a combo of oloroso sherry casks and bourbon barrels, selected and married by the distillery's master blender. You'll find all the classic Glen Grant tropical fruit character here, bolstered by sweet toffee, raisins, vanilla, and hearty baking spice.
Trickles of runny toffee, soft, juicy stone fruits, and plump raisins are backed by boiled sweeties and dustings of cinnamon sugar.
Creamy malt, buttery oak, and vanilla support sweet apricot and candied pineapple, with a touch of nutmeg in tow.
Cinder toffee, toasted coconut, and vanilla linger alongside more tropical fruit, drizzled with dark caramel.
