Bourbon
Distilled at Glen Moray in 2005, this single malt spent 13 years maturing, initially in a refill barrel, before finishing up in a first-fill bourbon barrel. The splendid Speysider now joins our own Master of Malt exclusive collection – another chance to bag yourself a bottle of brilliant MoM label Scotch. A release of 331 bottles.

Apple candies, a touch of gooseberry, vanilla marshmallow, buttered brioche with a drizzle of honey. Mellow, creamy oak, yellow plums.
More green apple sweeties, a flash of fresh ginger, robust barley, and creamy key lime pie. Drying oak develops in time, bringing notes of stewed tea and pepper.
Spices build though the sweetness remains, with a superb tangle of dense toffee and fiery cracked peppercorns.

The MoM tasting notes are spot on. Lovely compelling nose, sweet fruit, barley arrival followed by a whallop of black pepper, almost chilli heat…but in a good way. I would definitely recommend this one
