From The Whisky Cellar indie bottling range comes a 24 year old single malt produced at the Glenallachie Distillery. It was filled into a single cask back in December 1995 and allowed to rest until August 2020, when it was bottled up at cask strength. A release of 227 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Lemon drizzle cake, old oak furniture and a touch of cigar box.
Palate
Chocolate éclairs filled with fresh cream, chewy dates and walnuts, a subtle mineral-esque salinity.
Finish
Mature oak richness balanced by buttery brioche and grassy barley.
