“Glenturret have come out and said this is a new vatting from the 202o maiden release, and it is more apparent on the nose, but only with a side by side comparison. It rides with a little more spice on the finish with those extra American oak barrels, but it still comes in very close to its 2020 brother. ”

Matured in a combination of American and European oak, its the 2021 release of 12 year old single malt from The Glenturret Distillery! An indulgent balance of spiced fruits and creamy vanilla, balanced by rich, oily oak make it a splendid sipper.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Oily barley and toasted nuts mingle with sweet raisins, a whiff of malt loaf, and vanilla cream.

Palate

Warming ginger, juicy sultanas with dustings of cinnamon, spiced apple crumble and zesty oak.

Finish

Toasty oak char, dry cakey spice with a silky, creamy texture.
