A peated edition of anCnoc single malt from the Knockdhu distillery. This expression was finished in sherry casks, bringing sweet layers of toffee apples and honey to the woody peat smoke at its core.

The description is bang on. The fruit especially the pineapple on the nose is right there. The toffee apple is very apparent to start with on the pallet but the finish is all smoke and oak but very dry nothing coastal. It's delightful and reasonably priced.
