This is the third release in Laphroaig's The Ian Hunter Story. Following on from Book 1 and Book 2, Book 3 is a 33 year old Islay single malt, which enjoyed its lengthy maturation in ex-bourbon casks. The series honours and celebrates the impact that Ian Hunter, the last member of the Johnston family to own and manage Laphroaig Distillery, had on the distillery. Plus, is comes in a presentation box which is shaped like a book, and that's always neat.
