The flagship Old Malt Cask series was launched in 1998 and to celebrate 25 years, Hunter Laing has bottled a whole load of great whisky including this Speyburn single malt aged in a sherry butt for 17 years. Every one of these Old Malt Cask whiskies was bottled at 50% ABV without artificial colouring or chill-filtration.
Apricot, milk chocolate, vanilla, caramel sauce.
Nutmeg, fruit salad drizzled with pineapple sauce.
Gentle oak spice, lime with a hint of ginger.
