Islay #3 13 Year Old (That Boutique-y Whisky Company)
That Boutique-y Whisky Company has gone and bottled up an excellent Islay single malt from an undisclosed distillery once again! A fab 13 year old expression with loads of peaty notes and a good helping of sherry sweetness for balance. It's been released as part of the Boutique-y Records series, and the label looks like it's been illegally downloaded – it's covered in corrupted digital artefacts and everything. I'm a computer! Stop all the downloading!
Batch 5 is a release of 296 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Richly smoky, with drying hints of anise and menthol underneath, supported by rum soaked raisins.
Palate
Mocha, more spicy smoke, blackcurrant, and toasted teacake.
Finish
Salted butter and malt loaf, and the final embers of a bonfire.
