Whisky specialist Gordon & MacPhail is set to release the first in its unique series of Vintage Moments and the inaugural set celebrates a Scottish football legend, Sir Kenny Dalglish.
The unique box sets of five ultra-rare single malt Scotch whiskies was distilled in years that correspond with key life and career milestones.
To celebrate King Kenny, the whisky creator worked with arguably Liverpool’s greatest ever footballer to curate Scotch whiskies distilled in five years relating to landmark moments in his life.

A true football legend with a remarkable personal history, Sir Kenny Dalglish was born in 1951 and is regarded as one of the greatest strikers in post-war British football. He is one of Celtic’s, Liverpool’s and Scotland’s most admired figures, with a huge number of fans all around the world.
As a player, Sir Kenny Dalglish was the IOC European Footballer of the Season, a Ballon D’or Runner Up and FWA Tribute Award recipient. As a manager, Sir Kenny goes down in history, having won the First Division title with Liverpool on three occasions and the Premier League with Blackburn Rovers, a season which also saw him presented with the Premier League Manager of the Season award.

Vintage Moments
Vintage Moments by Gordon & MacPhail Whiskies provides the privilege of owning chapters of Scotland’s liquid history. A legacy crafted with intention, patience and artistry, tailored specifically to the individual. This unique opportunity will be extended to a very small number of private clients each year to sample single malts and select five from pivotal years in their life.
Each whisky will be hand-drawn from each cask, bottled at cask strength. They will be the only expression of each particular single malt that will ever exist.
Just 15 Sir Kenny Dalglish’s Vintage Moments by Gordon & MacPhail Whiskies box sets, each featuring five 70cl bottles of ultra-rare vintage single malts of exceptional quality brought to life from Gordon & MacPhail’s portfolio, will be available for sale this October. Each provides an exceptional opportunity for whisky aficionados and football lovers alike.
